My top 6 of Christmas Movies! 

 

Domingo em Dezembro só pode significar uma coisa: filmes de Natal! Por isso decidi juntar os meus filmes de Natal favoritos para vos dar alguma inspiração.

1. O Amor não tira férias: Primeiro que tudo, adoro o elenco deste filme. Conta a história de duas raparigas com guy-problems que trocam de casa para o país uma da outra durante o Natal. É uma típica comédia romântica mas eu adoro!

2. O Amor Acontece: Segue a história de oito casais que tentam lidar com os seus problemas durante o mês de Natal. Oito histórias diferentes que acabam por estar interligadas.

3. O Grinch: Grinch odeia o Natal e tenta arruiná-lo para todas as pessoas as pessoas de Whoville. Clássico!

 

Sunday in December can only mean one thing: Christmas movies! So I decided to gather my favorite Christmas movies to give you some inspiration. 

1. The Holiday: First of all, I love the cast from this movie. It tells the story of two girls with guy-problems that switch houses to each other’s country during the holidays. It’s a typical romantic comedy but I love it!

2. Love Actually: Follows the history of eight couples that are trying to deal with their problems during Christmas’s month. Eight different histories that end up being interrelated.

3. How the Grinch stole Christmas: Grinch hates Christmas and tries to ruin it for everyone in Whoville. Classic!

 

 

4. O Expresso Polar: Tenho de admitir, choro sempre com este filme. Conta a história de um menino que embarca num comboio com destino ao Polo Norte. Nesta viagem aprende sobre a amizade e o espírito natalício.

5. Sobrevivendo ao Natal: Ver este filme com a minha mãe já é uma tradição. Já sei qual é a primeira coisa a fazer quando chegar a casa! O filme é sobre um jovem milionário que paga a uma família para passar o Natal com eles.

6. Sozinho em Casa: Outro clássico, certo? Provavelmente nem preciso de vos introduzir a este filme ahah. O título diz tudo, é sobre as aventuras de um rapaz que é deixado sozinho em casa acidentalmente durante o Natal.

 

4. Polar Express: I have to admit, I always cry with this movie. It tells the history of a boy who embarks on a train with destination to the North Pole. In this trip he learns about friendship and the Christmas spirit. 

5. Surviving Christmas: Watching this movie with my mom is already a tradition! I know what the first thing that I’ll do when I get home will be! This movie is about a young millionaire who pays a family to spend Christmas with them.

6. Home Alone: Another classic, right? I probably don’t even need to introduce you to this film ahah. The title says it all, it’s about the adventures of boy who is left home alone accidentally during the holidays.
