The city of lights

Já tinha ido ao topo da torre Eiffel antes por isso desta vez queria ir de noite. Deve ser lindo olhar para a cidade toda coberta de luzes. Sim, “deve”, porque acabei por não ir. Passei quase três horas numa fila e quando estava quase na bilheteira, o topo da torre Eiffel tinha fechado. Típico da Catarina… ahah. Definitivamente a pior coisa sobre Paris (e viagens em geral) são as filas. Esperar não é de todo para mim!

I have been to the top of the Eiffel tower once before so this time I wanted to go in the night time. It must be beautiful to look at the whole city covered in lights. Yes, “it must be”, because I ended up not going. I spent almost three hours in the line and when I was almost getting to the ticket office, the top of the Eiffel tower closed. Typical Catarina… ahah. Definitely the worst thing about Paris (and travelling in general) are the lines. Waiting is just not for me!
