Always catching sunsetz. Tive a oportunidade de ver este em específico em Saint Martin de Ré. Foi a minha segunda vez lá  e certifico-o como um ótimo lugar para ver o pôr do sol. Uma coisa estranha em França (bom, para alguém que vem do Sul da Europa), é que o sol nasce às 5h e põe-se depois das 22h no Verão! Não é incrível? Temos quase sempre a luz do sol.

Gostava que viesse acompanhado do clima também tho. Porque ainda estou a utilizar malhas e casacos a meio de Junho! Quero começar a sonhar com o Verão mas com esta atmosfera as minhas férias parecem estar tão longínquas! Felizmente tenho o euro para me lembrar da beleza do verão. Por quem estão a torcer?

 

Always catching sunstez. I got to see this beautiful one in Saint Martin de Ré. It was my second time there and I certify it as a great sunset spot. The crazy thing about France (well, from someone that comes from the South of Europe), it is that the sun rises at 5am and sets atfter 10pm in the Summer! How amazing is that?  We almost always have daylight.

I wish it came with the summer weather included tho. Because I am still wearing knits and heavy cots in the middle of June! I want to start dreaming about Summer but with this atmosphere my vacations still seem so far away! Thankfully I have the eurocup now to remind me about the beauty of summer. Who are you rooting for?

Uma das melhores coisas de ficar num bom hotel é o spa. Não ia a um há imenso tempo! Foi muito bom voltar e relaxar um pouco. Fiz um pouco de jacuzzi, sauna e hammam. Hammam foi uma novidade para mim! Nunca tinha feito antes mas devo dizer que não é o meu preferido. Demasiado vapor, foi difícil de respirar bem. E o meu preferido permanece o jacuzzi. O que é que eu posso dizer, sou uma menina da água!

A única coisa que faltou foi uma boa massagem. Talvez para a próxima?

One of the nicest things of staying in a good hotel is the spa. I haven’t been to one in forever! It was so nice to go back and relax for a bit. I did a bit of jaccuzzi, sauna and hammam. Hammam was a first for me! I had never done it before but I must say it is not my favorite. Too much steam, it was a bit too hard to breathe. And my favorite remains the jaccuzzi. What can I say, I am a water girl!

The only thing missing was a nice massage. Next time maybe?

Sou eu de novo! Dois dias de seguida, é a loucura. Mas prefiro aproveitar a minha motivação deste fim-de-semana. É fácil esquecermo-nos do que é importante para nós quando estamos presos na rotina de casa-trabalho-casa com todas as obrigações que vêm incluídas.

Estou a precisar desesperadamente de férias para poder escapar um pouco desta esta rotina. Ainda tenho de esperar alguns meses mas se tudo correr como planeado, vai ser épico! Até lá… são os meus hobbies que me mantêm sã : escrever, pintar, cozinhar, tirar fotografias, ver friends pela décima sétima vez…

Entanto, o que é que eu tenho feito recentemente para além de sonhar com as minhas férias? Aprendi a fazer cappuccinos em casa e foi a melhor coisa que me aconteceu. A primavera invadiu a minha casa e tenho tido constantemente flores frescas na entrada. Comprei Animal Crossing e virei uma geek da Switch. Descobri a loja Sostrene Grene e apaixonei-me. Comecei uma nova tela. Fiz um workshop de costura. E estou bem encaminhada na minha renovação de guarda roupa!

It is me again! Two days in a row, that is crazy. But I prefer to take advantage of this weekend’s motivation. It is easy to forget about what is important to us when we are stuck in the home-work-home routine and all the obligations that come with it.

I am in desperate need of vacations so I can escape this routine. I still have to wait some months but if I all works out as planned, it is going to be epic! Until then… it is my hobbies that keep me sane : writing, paiting, taking pictures, watching friends for the seventeeth time…

Meanwhile, what have I been doing besides daydreaming about my vacations? I learned to do homemade cappuccinos and it is the best thing that happened to me. Spring invaded my home and I have been having fresh flowers in the entrance all the time. I bought Animal Corssing and became a Switch geek. Found out about Sostrene Grene and fell in love. I started a new canvas. I did a couture workshop. And everything is well on track for the wardrobe renovation!

So. So.
