Always catching sunsetz. Tive a oportunidade de ver este em específico em Saint Martin de Ré. Foi a minha segunda vez lá  e certifico-o como um ótimo lugar para ver o pôr do sol. Uma coisa estranha em França (bom, para alguém que vem do Sul da Europa), é que o sol nasce às 5h e põe-se depois das 22h no Verão! Não é incrível? Temos quase sempre a luz do sol.

Gostava que viesse acompanhado do clima também tho. Porque ainda estou a utilizar malhas e casacos a meio de Junho! Quero começar a sonhar com o Verão mas com esta atmosfera as minhas férias parecem estar tão longínquas! Felizmente tenho o euro para me lembrar da beleza do verão. Por quem estão a torcer?

 

Always catching sunstez. I got to see this beautiful one in Saint Martin de Ré. It was my second time there and I certify it as a great sunset spot. The crazy thing about France (well, from someone that comes from the South of Europe), it is that the sun rises at 5am and sets atfter 10pm in the Summer! How amazing is that?  We almost always have daylight.

I wish it came with the summer weather included tho. Because I am still wearing knits and heavy cots in the middle of June! I want to start dreaming about Summer but with this atmosphere my vacations still seem so far away! Thankfully I have the eurocup now to remind me about the beauty of summer. Who are you rooting for?

Primeiro post de maio, portanto… Feliz mês de maio! Já adorava este mês antes, quando a primavera está no seu auge, os dias começam a ficar mais longos, os dias mais quentes, e os planos para o verão estão mesmo ao virar da esquina. Mas agora que vivo em França, adoro ainda mais! Cada semana tem um feriado, não é incrível? Estou a experimentar as semanas de trabalho de 4 dias e não as quero deixar ir.

Esta semana que vem tem dois feriados de seguida por isso vou aproveitar para ir um pouco mais longe em França. Espero que esteja bom tempo! Estou farta dos dias chuvosos e nublados. Adoro o Outono e Inverno mas já tive o suficiente nos últimos 8 meses. Está na hora dos dias ensolarados!

 

First post of May so… happy May, everyone! I already loved this month before, when spring is at it’s peak, days are getting longer and warmer and all the plans we have for Summer are just around the corner. But now that I live in France, I love it even more! Each week has at least one holiday, how amazing is that? I am experiencing the 4 days work-week and I am not ready to let it go.

This week to come has two holidays in a row so I am taking the opportunity to leave a bit further away in France. Hopefully it will be a nice weather! I have to say I am tired of the cloudy and rainy weather. I love Fall and Winter but I’ve had enough for the last 8 months. It is time for sunny days now!

Porque uma foto do Palácio da Bolsa não é suficiente. Aqui fica também uma foto minha a tirar uma foto da Palácio da Bolsa, ahah! Gosto do contraste de cores entre as duas. O objeto é sempre o mesmo, no entanto vêm que o telemóvel capta um esquema de cores frio enquanto a minha câmera, um esquema quente. Neste caso em específico, os tons quentes são os mais próximos da realidade.

Este sítio foi o meu favorito em Bordeaux. Uma praça enorme e magistral, situada mesmo em frente ao rio. Deve ser ainda mais bonita com o famoso espelho de água do outro lado da rua, ms não tive a oportunidade de o ver. Simplesmente não estava a funcionar neste fim-de-semana.

Está localizado mesmo perto do centro da cidade. E o café que vos falei no último post é aqui mesmo, se seguirem a rua à esquerda da fonte.

 

Because a picture of Place de la Bourse is not enough. Here is also a picture of me taking a picture of Place de la Bourse, ahah! I like the color contrast between the two. The object is always the same, yet you can see that the phone has a much cooler color scheme while my camera has a much warmer one. In this specific case, I think the warmer tones are closer to reality.

This place was my favorite in Bordeaux. A huge and majestic place, right in front of the river. It must be even more beautiful with the famous water mirror on the other side of the street, however, I didn’t have the chance to see it. It was simply not working during this weekend.

The place is located right by the city center. And the café I told you about on the last post is located right there, if you take the left street at the foutain.
