SOUS LE CIEL DE PARIS

Sous le ciel de Paris marchent des amoureux,
Leur bonheur se construit sur un air fait pour eux.

 

Aqui ficam algumas fotos tiradas recentemente, sous le ciel de Paris. Adoro estes pequenos kiosques à borda do Sena que vendem, entre outras coisas, livros antigos e pinturas. É engraçado como comprei algumas destas pinturas em 2006, quando cá vim de férias com a minha familia, e ainda vejo estes desenhos serem vendidos 15 anos depois! Até tenho um do Champs-Élyéees pendurado no meu quarto em Portugal ♥. E em breve gostava de comprar um dos livros clássicos em francês que lá se vendem – é perfeito para praticar a língua!

 

Here are some pictures taken lately, sous le ciel de Paris. I love these little kiosks around Seine that sell, among other things, old books and paintings. It’s funny how I have bought some of these paintings in 2006, when I came here on holidays with my family, and I can still see the same drawings being sold 15 years later! I even have one of the Champs-Élyéees hanging in my room back in Portugal ♥. And soon I would like to buy one of the classic french books being sold there – perfect way to practice my french!

 

 

O imponente Panteão! Tão perto da minha casa, até tomei a minha segunda dose da vacina aqui ahah. Há inúmeras personalidades francesas famosas no Panteão: Victor Hugo, Voltaire, Pierre e Marie Currie, etc. Mas para aqueles que viram Emily in Paris, é provavelmente mais importante saber que SIM, foi exatamente aqui que ela acabou com o namorado! ahah.

 

The imponent Panthéon! So close to my house, I even took my second dose of the vaccine right there ahah. There are a lot of famous French personalities in Panthéon: Victor Hugo, Voltaire, Pierre and Marie Currie, etc. But for the ones that have seen Emily in Paris, it is probably more important to know that YES this is the exact place where she broke up with her boyfriend! Ahah.

 

 

Tão divertido ter hospedado as minhas gémeas favoritas recentemente, divertimo-nos muito 😀 . Tentar pôr três pessoas na minha pequena gaiola foi um desafio mas foi bem sucedido!

 

So fun to have hosted my favorite twins recently, we had so much fun 😀 . Managing to put three people in my little cage was a challenge but it was successful!

 

 

Sou mais feliz quando tenho gelado na mão. E ainda mais se foi um gelado em flor! O Amorino nunca me desaponta, não importa onde esteja no mundo.

 

I am happier with an ice cream in my hand. And even more if it is a flower ice cream! Amorino never disappoints me, no matter where I am in the world.

 

 

Algures em Montmatre, encontrei esta frase bonita. Há pequenos pedaços de arte em todo o lado nesta cidade, amo. E vamos ser sinceros, quase tudo soa bem nesta língua.

 

Somewhere in Montmartre, I found this pretty quote. There are pieces of art everywhere in this city, I love it. And let’s be honest, almost everythings sounds good in this language.

 

 

Coleccionando memórias! Fiquei com estas fotos com as minhas meninas e agora, sempre que olho para elas, sinto-me mais em casa.

Ok então… estou numa missão para experimentar todos os croissaints de Paris e descobrir o melhor. Também estou a tentar provar todos as pâtisseries para descobrir a minha favorita – até agora o Éclair está a ganhar. Há algum amigo/a francês desse lado? Onde posso encontrar o melhor croissaint do mundo? Ou pâtisserie? Ou comida francesa em geral? Ajudem uma amiga!

 

Ok so… I am on a mission to try every croissaint in Paris and discover the best one. I am also trying all the pâtisseries I can to discover my favorite – so far the Éclair is winning. Do I have any french friends on that side? Where can I find the absolute best croissaint? Or the best pâtisserie? Or french food in general? Help a friend out!
