WHAT WAS NEW IN FEBRUARY?

 

What was new in February?

 

Não foi tão preenchido como o mês de Janeiro (devido à carga de trabalho) mas ainda assim vale um post! Como foi o vosso mês? O que houve de novo em fevereiro?

Eu visitei a Fundação Louis Vuitton e Rivolo 59. Bem diferentes uma da outra! Mas ambas interessantes. Na fundação Louis Vuitton visitei a coleção Morozov. Rivolo 59 é uma galeria de arte (bem indie) – um prédio com vários andares onde diferentes artistas contemporâneos trabalham e vendem os seus trabalhos.

 

Not as busy as January (due to the amount of workload) mas still worth a post! How was your month? What was new in february for you?

I visited Fondation Louis Vuitton and Rivolo 59. Very different from each other! But both interesting. In Fondation Lous Vuitton I visited the Morozov collection. Rivolo 59 is an art gallery (very indie) – a building where different artists work and sell their work.

 

So. So.

Comecei a ler L’Étranger. Estou bem no início ainda porque ler em francês para mim ainda é muito cansativo! Há palavras que tenho de procurar o significado ou frases que tenho de ler e reler. Mas devagar se vai ao longe! Foodwise (melhor parte), fiz a receita de tomatada da minha avó e comi raclette pela primeira vez. Fiz hambúrgueres caseiros e uma tarte Tatin – tem a particularidade de ser confecionada “ao contrário”.

 

I started reading L’Étranger. I am still in the beginning because reading in french is still too tiring for me! There are some words for which I have to search the meaning or sentences which I have to read and re-read. But I am hoping to progess! Foodwise (best part), I did my grandmother’s receipe of Tomatada and ate Raclette for the first time. Mode homemade burguers and a Tatin tarte – it has the particularity of being made “on reverse”.

Finalmente, tive de ir à loja da Valentino tirar fotos para um projeto de Visual Merchandising e dei por mim a percorrer a avenida mais chique de Paris de uma ponta à outra. Já tinha passado pela Avenue Montaigne antes mas nunca a tinha percorrido de facto. Também este mês comecei a enviar as primeiras candidaturas para estágios – desejem-me sorte!

 

Finally, I had to go to the Valentino store to take some pictures for a Visual Merchandising project and ended up walking the chicest avenue in Paris from one side to the other. I had aleady been to Avenue Montaigne before but I never really walked it fully. I also started to send the first internship applications – wish me luck!
