Mushroom Hunting
Falei do espírito de outono no último post. E aqui está o exemplo perfeito! Uma das minhas novas atividades preferidas de outono: ir à caça de cogumelos! É tão bom estar próxima da natureza, recolher os produtos de manhã e cozinhar pratos deliciosos com os mesmos à tarde.
Este tipo de atividades dão-me vontade de mudar para o campo, ter um jardim onde posso plantar os meus legumes e frutas e abrir um café onde vendo produtos frescos mas também flores e livros e talvez organizar atividades de pintura duas vezes por semana. Oh well… Talvez daqui a alguns anos?
Ontem apanhámos cerca de 2,6kg de cogumelos. Diz-se que a melhor altura para os encontrar é quando o solo está húmido e a lua ascendente – parece que é mesmo verdade! Portanto, com esta ótima colheita, hoje temos no menu cogumelos salteados e, mais tarde durante a semana, risotto!
I spoke about the fall spirit on the last post. And here is a perfect example! One of my new favorite fall activities: go mushroom hunting! It feels so nice to be this connected to nature, collect you own products in the morning and cook fresh dishes with it in the afternoon.
This kind of activities make me want to move to the countryside, have my own garden and open a little café where I sell fresh baked products but also flowers and books and maybe have painting activities on twice a week on the afternoon. Oh well… Maybe some years from now?
Yesterday we caught around 2,6kg of mushrooms. Some say the best time to hunt them is when the ground is wet and the moon is rising – it seems it is really true! With such a great harvest, today we have on the menu sauteed mushrooms and, later on the week, risotto!
