Officially Economist!

 

Esta foto foi tirada no dia antes do maior exame da minha vida ahah. Fiz o último exame da minha licenciatura na primeira semana de Setembro e recebi a nota no mesmo dia. Sou oficialmente economista, genteeeeee!

 

This picture was taken the day before the biggest exam of my life ahah. I did the last exam of my undergraduate degree on the first week of September and I received the grade the same day. So I’m officially an economist, guyyyyyys!

Terceira semana de Setembro fiz o meu corte-de-final-de-verão e a cabeleireira convenceu-me a encaracolar o cabelo. Não o amei encaracolado mas gostei muito dele ondulado quando acordei no dia a seguir, como nesta foto!

Third week of September I finally had my end-of-summer-haircut and the hairdresser convinced me to curl my hair. I didn’t love it curled that day but I really liked it wavy when I woke up the day after, like it this picture!

Desculpem o update mau gente, mas apanhei uma constipação e não tive energia para fazer nada todo o fim-de-semana. Tive de tomar um comprimido que me fez dormir o dia todo! Além disso, a minha cidade está infestada de mosquitos e toda a gente está a ser mordida. Sábado acordei e parecia um ciclope porque, de todos os sítios onde me podiam morder, morderam no olho. Típico da Catarina! Enfim, já me sinto melhor agora por isso amanhã volto com o post melhor, fiquem atentos xx.

 

I’m sorry about the bad update guys, but I caught a cold and I didn’t have the energy to do anything at all this weekend. I had to take a pill that made me sleep all day long! Besides that, my city is infested with mosquitos and everyone is being bite. Saturday I woke up and looked like a ciclope because, of all places I could have been bite, I was bite in the eye. Typical Catarina! Anyway, I’m feeling better now so tomorrow I’ll be back with a better post, stay tuned xx.

When life gets in the way

 

Tenho sonhado com esta semana há imenso tempo. A semana em que acabaria a minha licenciatura e podia finalmente começar a fazer o que gosto. Tinha planos, tinha tudo planeado… mas, como sempre, a vida pôs-se no caminho. Esta semana aprendi o que é perder alguém que eu amo. Na verdade, uma das pessoas que mais amo na minha vida. Não posso dizer que não estava à espera mas mesmo assim magoou-me de uma forma como eu nunca tinha sido magoada antes.

Não gosto de falar disto. No entanto, não podia simplesmente postar artigos relacionados com moda como normalmente faço e fingir que nada aconteceu entretanto. Como disse antes, este blog faz-me feliz, é por isso que quero voltar o mais rápido possível e regressar à minha vida normal. De todas as coisas más, esta situação ajudou-me a perceber que não devo levar a vida tão a sério. Esta dor ainda é recente, mas estou a curá-la.

 

I have been dreaming about this week for a long time. The week where I finished my undergraduate degree and finally could start doing what I love. I had plans, I had everything figured out but, as always, life got in the way. This week I learned what it is to lose someone you love. Actually, one of the persons I love the most in my life. I can’t say I wasn’t expecting it but nevertheless it hurt in a way I’ve never been hurt before.

I don’t like talking about this. However, I feel like I couldn’t just keep posting fashion-related articles like I usually do and pretend nothing has happened in the meantime. As I said before, this blog makes me happy, that is why I want to come back as soon as possible and start my normal life. Of all the bad things, this situation helped me realize I should’t take life too seriously. This pain is still fresh, but I’m healing.
