Some snapshots of my visit to Zurich last weekend!

 

Se quisesse ser uma verdadeira Bernense  então teria de odiar Zurique, a nossa rival. Mas acho que nunca o vou poder ser porque adorei a cidade! O tempo estava em nosso favor, a luz espetacular, toda a gente nas ruas, muita música, comida e diversão. Mal posso esperar para voltar!

Este fim-de-semana foi de mudanças, já estamos numa nova casa! Outra aventura que tenho de vos contar mais tarde. No entanto, agora que finalmente tenho internet em casa, falta-me o tempo. Os trabalhos começam a acumular e quando consigo descansar, adormeço ahah. Neste momento escrevo-vos da Universidade, só para vir dizer olá! Prometo dar o meu melhor para atualizar mais vezes :). Beijinhos!

 

If I wanted to be a true Bernese, I had to hate Zurich, our rival. But I guess I can’t ever be a true Bernese because I absolutely loved the city! The weather was in our favor, the light was amazing, everyone was on the streets, lots of music, food and fun. I can’t wait to go back! 

This weekend was for moving, we are already in a new house! Another adventure I have to tell you later. However, now that I finally have internet at home, I don’t have the time. The papers start to accumulate and when I can rest, I fall asleep ahah. I’m writing from the University at the moment, just to say a quick hi! I promise to give my best to upload more often :). We got lost in the Woods

 

Finalmente Sexta, certo? O problema com a internet continua em casa. Estou na faculdade agora, a tirar proveito da internet grátis para poder fazer um update rápido! Só começo as aulas na segunda mas estou a fazer um curso intensivo de Alemão esta semana :). Mais tarde vou fazer umas compras e depois vamos fazer noite de filmes e pizza porque… bem, porque não? Alguma sugestão de filmes?

Sobre estas fotos, tirámo-las há uns dias atrás quando fomos dar um passeio na nossa vizinhança e perdemo-nos no bosque ahah. Mas era tão bonito, parecia um quadro!

Finally Friday, right? The struggle with the internet continues at home. I’m on college now, taking advantage of the free-wifi so I can make a quick upload here! I only start classes on Monday but I’m doing an intensive German course this week :). Later I’m gonna do some shopping and then we are doing movie night with pizza because… well, why not? Any movie suggestions?

About these pictures, we took them a few days ago when we were taking a walk in our neighborhood and got lost in the woods ahah. But it was so beautiful, lookes like a painting!

Inland Ireland

Já estou em Portugal! Por isso decidi acabar os posts da Irlanda com algumas fotografias que penso descreveram bem este país. Nesta viagem decidimos ficar no interior da Irlanda. É verdade que a melhor maneira de conhecer os locais e a sua verdadeira cultura é ficar no interior, mas, para um estrangeiro, torna-se difícil encontrar alguns sítios lá bem como visitar as principais cidades.

Adorei  o facto de haver flores em todo o lado e ser tudo tão verde! Algumas pessoas foram boas, outras não, por isso não tenho bem uma opinião nessa matéria. A pior parte para mim foi a comida. À excepção deste pequeno almoço no último dia em Dublin, a comida foi praticamente toda terrível, tão terrível que o meu estômago doeu toda a viagem :(.

 

I’m already in Portugal! So I decided to end Ireland posts with some pictures that I think describe this country the best. In this trip we decided to stay in the interior of Ireland. It’s true that the best way to meet the locals and get to know their true culture is to stay in the interior but, for a foreign, it gets hard to find some places there as well as visit the main cities.

I loved the fact that there are flowers everywhere and everything is so green! Some people where good, some where not, so I don’t really have an opinion on that matter. The worst thing for me was the food. Except for this breakfast on my last day in Dublin, the food was pretty much all terrible, so terrible that my stomach hurt the entire trip :(.
