Azulejos from Capela das Almas

The famous azulejos from the Chapel of Souls – I had to take one picture (or two) when I saw them!

Are you ready for a new week? Here I am on my way to work but still sharing pictures of my holidays. As much as I tell you I am ready, each monday is a challenge ahah. Some weeks ago I signed up for the gym and I have been going 3 times a week before work. Which makes waking up even harder. But honestly, I feel so good after that it is worth it. I hope I can keep up with this routine! I will keep you updated.

So. So.

MUSHROOM HUNTING

Mushroom hunting

Mushroom Hunting

Oh well… Talvez daqui a alguns anos?

I spoke about the fall spirit on the last post. And here is a perfect example! One of my new favorite fall activities: go mushroom hunting! It feels so nice to be this connected to nature, collect you own products in the morning and cook fresh dishes with it in the afternoon.

This kind of activities make me want to move to the countryside, have my own garden and open a little café where I sell fresh baked products but also flowers and books and maybe have painting activities on twice a week on the afternoon. Oh well… Maybe some years from now?

Yesterday we caught around 2,6kg of mushrooms. Some say the best time to hunt them is when the ground is wet and the moon is rising – it seems it is really true! With such a great harvest, today we have on the menu sauteed mushrooms and, later on the week, risotto!

So. So.

FALL 2024

Fall 2024

Fall 2024

A novos hobbies, novas experiências e memórias incríveis! Vamos tirar o melhor proveito destes três próximos meses, ok?

Têm planos para esta reta final de 2024?

I finally feel the spirit of fall has arrived! The cold was already here for some weeks now but that was just not enough. I was missing the feeling of fresh starts and new routines. Maybe I just needed October! So here is to fall 2024: chunky knits, nude tones, hot beverages and a lot of journaling. To a healthy lifestyle, time spent with my people and time spent with myself. New hobbies, new experiences and wonderful memories! Let’s take the best out of the three next months, shall we?

Do you have any plans for this final sprint of 2024?

So. So.
