Fotos perdidas de um fim-de-semana em Marvão
Visitei Marvão pela primeira vez em 2009. Não me lembrava muito da vila em si. A única coisa que me lembrava era do pequeno-almoço maravilhoso do sítio onde ficámos. E consequentemente a vista maravilhosa da sala de refeições 😀 . Revisitámos esta pequena vila recentemente e fomos arrebatados mais uma vez.
Há apenas 90 habitantes em Marvão e um único café onde se encontram. A melhor coisa de visitar estas pequenas vilas em Portugal é que toda a gente te trata como se te conhecesse desde sempre! Mesmo mantendo a nossa grande distância de segurança, pude falar com o Sr. Jorge e tornar-me a sua melhor amiga em apenas 30 minutos ahah. Também conheci o seu cãozinho Sebastien, com apenas 2 meses de vida, a coisa mais fofa de sempre!
Alentejo vai sempre ter um lugar especial no meu coração. E, além das pessoas, há uma coisa que vos vai roubar o coração instantaneamente: A COMIDA! Apesar de achar que é algo transversal a todo o país. Já visitaram Marvão?
Random snaps from a weekend in Marvão
I visited Marvão for the first time in 2009. I didn’t remember much from the village itself. The only thing I remembered was the amazing breakfast from the place we stayed. And consequently the amazing view from the meal room 😀 . We revisited this lovely village recently and got to be amazed once again.
There are only 90 habitants in Marvão and one single café where they meet. Best thing about visiting these little villages in Portugal is that everyone treats you like they have known you since forever! Even while keeping our big security distance, I got to chat with Mr. Jorge and become his close best friend in just 30 minutes ahah. And also meet his little dog Sebastien, with just 2 months of life, cutest thing ever!
Alentejo will always have a special place in my heart. And, besides the people, there’s one thing that will get your heart instantly: FOOD! I think this is something which applies to almost the whole country, though. Have you ever visited Alentejo?
