Como é a tua rotina no dia a dia?

A minha rotina mudou muito comparada com o que era o ano passado, como podem imaginar. Tive a sorte de manter o meu trabalho durante a pandemia por isso trabalho de casa todo o dia durante a semana. Idealmente, tento tirar algum tempo de manhã para sair de casa, ir passear a Lucy e tomar o pequeno almoço antes de começar a trabalhar. Ao final do dia também tento fazer algumas coisas que me deixam feliz – seja escrever, fotografar, aprender cisas novas, pintar. ver uma série, dar um passeio, etc. Se eu apenas acordar – trabalhar – dormir, dou em louca! Em tempos ambíguos como estes, é importante mantermo-nos ocupados com os nossos hobbies.

 

What’s your daily routine?

My routine nowadays has changed a lot compared to what it was last year, as you can guess. I was lucky enough to maintain my job during the pandemic so I am homeworking all day during the week. Ideally, I always try to take some time to go outside in the morning walk Lucy and have breakfast before starting to work. And at the end of the day I also try to to the things that make me the most happy – either it is writing, photographing, learning new things, painting, watching a show, going for a walk, etc. If I just wake up – work – sleep, I will go crazy! In ambiguous times like this, I think it is very important to keep yourself busy with your hobbies.

 

Qual sua banda preferida?

Sou uma menina do indie rock e há tantas tantas TANTAS bandas que eu gosto deste estilo! No entanto, os Arctic Monkeys são a minha preferida e serão sempre muito especiais para mim. Passei a minha adolescência fluorescente toda a ouvi-los e os primeiros albúns trazem-me um conforto que não sei sequer descrever.  Não adoro o último álbum, tenho de admtir, mas continuam a ser os meus babies. ♥

 

What’s your favorite band?

I’m an indie rock girl and there are so so SO many bands I like in this style! However, Arctic Monkeys are my favorite and will always be very special to me. I spent my whole fluorescent adolescence listening to them and the first albums bring me a comfort I cannot even begin to describe. I don’t love the last album, I must admit, but they are still my babies. ♥

 

Qual seu maior sonho?

De momento o meu maior sonho é poder trabalhar em algo que me complete, e sou sortuda o suficiente para saber o que é (ou penso que sei). Se me mantiver num trabalho em que constantemente espero que sexta chegue, vou ser miserável. Também quero criar uma grande e linda família e todas essas coisas cliché mas… um passo de cada vez ahah. Por agora, a minha prioridade é a minha carreira.

 

What’s your biggest dream?

Currently my biggest dream is to be able to work on something that fulfils me, and I am lucky enough to know what it is (or I think I do). If I stay on a job where I am constantly waiting for Friday to arrive, I will be miserable. I also want to build a big beautiful family and all those cliché things but… one step at a time ahah. For now, my priority is my career.

 

Um motivo que te faz feliz hoje.

O espírito de Natal que começa a entrar por esta casa! A melhor parte do Natal sempre foi encher a casa de família e ter aquelas refeições com mesas gigantes em que toda a gente fala por cima uns dos outros e ficamos a comer e conversar durante quatro horas seguidas, – também é assim nos outros países? – o que não será possível este ano (nem tão cedo, no nosso caso). Ainda assim, o Natal tem magia e continua a ser das melhores alturas do ano.

 

One thing that makes you happy today.

The Christmas spirit that is beginning to arrive in this house! Best part of Christmas has always been having the house full of family and having those meals with gigantic tables when everyone talks above each other and we eat and talk for four hours straight, – is it like these in other countries too? – which will not be possible this year (and maybe not so soon, in our case). But still, Christmas is magic and is still one of the best times of the year.

 

 

Algo de que tens saudades?

Tenho muitas saudades dos almoços ao sábado na casa da minha avó materna.

 

Something you miss?

I miss the saturday lunches at my grandmother’s house a lot.

 

Um sítio para onde queres viajar para o ano?

Tinha planeado ir à África do Sul com a minha família este ano por isso espero conseguir remarcar esta viagem para breve. No entanto, não me parece que vá acontecer em breve. Não é uma viagem barata e preciso de dinheiro para outras aventuras 😛 .

 

What’s one place you want to travel to next year?

I had planned going to South Africa with my family this year so I hope I can reschedule this trip soon. However, I don’t think I will do it anytime soon. It is not a very cheap travel and I need the money for some other adventures 😛 .

 

Porquê criar um blog?

Comecei a ler blogs de moda e lifestyle quando era bem novinha e um dia simplesmente decidi criar o meu ahah. No meu caso, adoro moda, arte e fotografia e um blog premitiu-me transformar todas essas paixões num hobby e poder de facto fazer algo com elas. Além disso, no que toca a falar sobre a minha vida, não sou a pessoa mais faladora de sempre, por isso um blog premite-me tirar algumas coisas do peito de vez em quando, sem precisar de “chatear” alguém diretamente 😀 .

 

Why creating a blog?

I started reading fashion and lifestyle blogs at a very young age and someday I just decided to do my own ahah. In my case, I love fashion, art and photography and a blog allowed me to transform those passions into an hobby and actually do something with them. Besides, when it comes to talk about my life, I am not a very talkative person, so a blog allows me to get some things out of my chest every once in a while, without “bothering” anyone directly 😀 .

 

Qual foi uma coisa importante que aprendeste em 2020?

Aprendi que não devo tomar nada como garantido (não aprendemos todos?). E, acima de tudo, a aproveitar cada momento e cada oportunidade que me é dada. Não deixar nada por fazer ou dizer, a vida é curta demais para meios termos.

 

What is one important thing you’ve learnt in 2020?

I learnt not to take anything for granted (didn’t we all?). And, above all, to seize every moment and every opportunity that is given to me. To never leave anything unsaid or undone, life is too short for half terms.

Quais são as peças essenciais no teu roupeiro?

As peças essenciais são as intemporais. Por isso, eu diria: uma camisa branca, um bom par de jeans, um bom par de botas pretas, uma gabardine camel e, claro, o pequeno vestido preto.

 

What are the essential pieces you must have in your closet?

The essential pieces are the timeless ones. So, I would say: a white shirt, a nice pair of jeans, a nice pair of black boots, a camel trench and, of course, the little black dress.

 

Como defines o teu estilo e como conjugas os teus looks?

O meu estilo depende muito do modo em que acordo ahah. Mas eu diria que na maior das vezes é classy e girly. Em relação à forma como conjugo os looks, geralmente escolho uma peça statement (a que se destaca mais) e monto um look à volta dela.

 

How do you define your style and how do you put your outfits together?

My style depends on the mood I wake up in ahah. But I would say it’s mostly classy and girly. In what concerns the way I conjugate the outfits, generally I pick up a statement piece (the one that stands out the most) and create a look around it.

 

Quais são os três produtos de beleza essenciais na tua rotina?

Tenho uma pele muito sensível então um bom creme hidratante é o maior essencial para mim! Em termos de maquilhagem, o meu produto favorito de sempre tem de ser o rímel. E depois, claro, um bom removedor de maquilagem porque não remover a maquilhagem corretamente pode causar muito dano.

 

What are the three most essential beauty products in your routine?

I have a very sensitive skin so for me a good moisturizer is the most essential thing! Make-up wise, my absolute favorite product has to be mascara. And then, of course, a good makeup remover because not removing your makeup correctly can cause a lot of damage.

 

Qual a tua rotina de beleza?

Tenho de admitir que não dedico horas da minha vida na minha rotina de beleza. Como já referi, o essencial para mim é mesmo a hidratção e proteção da pele, que faço todos os dias.

 

Tell me about your beauty routine?

I have to admit I do not dedicate hours of my life on my beauty routine. As I mentioned, the most essential thing for me is the hydration and protection of the skin, which I do every day.
