2021, will you think about me?

«2021, will you think ’bout me?
I could wait a year, but I couldn’t wait three.»

Perdi amigos, ganhei novos e reaproximei-me de outros.

So. So.

Me trying to hold on to the last beam of hope to save this year:. If Vampire Weekend made a song about 2021, it will be a good year.

Actually, 2020 was not such a terrible year. I mean, so many bad things happened I lost count along the way. But that allowed me to focus on all the good things instead. And there’s a different kind of freedom when you don’t have much left to lose. To quote one of my favorite movies: “It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything”. I got to discover new passions, explored old ones and got out of my comfort zone several times. I lost friends, gained new ones and got closer to others. A period which brings you growth can never be fully classified as bad. And I grew a lot in 2020!

What was the most important thing you leaned this year?
