Boa segunda-feira, pessoas lindas! Hoje foi um daqueles dias em que nada corre bem. O meu metro avariou de manhã e parou a linha toda por isso tive de andar metade do caminho até ao trabalho o que normalmente seria ok se eu não tivesse uma chamada às 9h. Andei, suei e cheguei às 8h58. Só para descobrir que a minha chamada foi adiada. E PIOR! A MÁQUINA DO CAFÉ ESTAVA AVARIADA!
Pensei que estava livre deste tormento até sair do trabalho e apanhar o metro na direção contrária e só me aperceber passado umas cinco estações. Em minha defesa, não estava a fazer o caminho usual para casa porque tinha de ir entregar uma carta. MAS AINDA ASSIM! E a seguir a isso perdi o metro por literalmente dois segundos mas isso acontece a toda a hora por isso nem vou contar. NO ENTANTO, quando cheguei a casa, tinha o corredor inundado e havia água a cair do teto. Lá vai a Catarina, bater a todas as portas do andar de cima, no meu melhor sotaque francês, quando tudo o que conseguia dizer era “il y a de l’eau partout !”
Mas pronto, agora já está tudo bem. Fiz uma bolonhesa de lentilhas ao jantar e estava ótima! Talvez partilhe a receita? E para esquecer todos estes pequenos dramas, revisito o meu fim de semana que, ao contrário de hoje, foi bem mais calmo.

Happy Monday, beautiful people! Today was one of those days where nothing seems to go right. My metro broke down in the morning and stopped the whole line so I had to walk halfway to work which would normally be ok if I didn’t have a call at 9am. I walked, I sweat, I arrived at 8h58. Just to discover that my meeting was postponed. AND WORSE! THE COFFEE MACHINE WAS BROKEN!
I thought I was free from this torture until I left work and took the metro in the opposite direction and only realizing after like five stations. To be fair, I was not taking the usual way home as I needed to drop a letter. BUT STILL! And after that I lost the bus for literally 2 seconds but that happens everytime so I am not even counting. HOWEVER, when I got home, my hall was floaded and there was water falling from the ceiling. So there goes Catarina, knocking on everyone’s door in the floor above to try and understand where it comes from, in my best french accent, when all that I could say was “il y a de l’eau partout !”.
Anyway, now it is starting to get better. I made a lentil bolognese for dinner which was so good! Shall I share the recipe? And to forget all these little dramas, I am revisiting my lovely weekend which, unlike today, was super peaceful.

Ontem de manhã andei até ao museu. Vejam só esta beleza. O céu parece bom mas na verdade está muito frio em Paris estes dias. E hoje choveu!
Yesterday morning I took a walk on my way to the museum. Just look at this beauty. The sky looks nice but it is actually super cold in Paris these days. And it rained today!

E para acabar bem o fim de semana, um chá e Gilmore Girls! Que é provavelmente o que eu vou fazer agora. Lavar a louça, ligar à minha mãe a dizer que a adoro e adormecer a ver um episódio. Já é um ritual a este ponto.
And to end well the weekend, a little tea and Gilmore Girls! Which is probably what I am going to do now. Clean the dishes, call my mom to tell her I love her and fall asleep watching an episode. It is a ritual at this point.
