Bom sábado amores! Como sabem, este mês estudar está sempre na minha to-do list to dia. Mas hoje há outra coisa a acontecer: é o 10º aniversário da Lucy! Oh, e é o aniversário do meu pai também ahah. Vamos sair mais logo pata jantar, celebrar e divertir! Vai ser bom para libertar alguma pressão dos exames. Bom fim-de-semena xx.

 

Happy Saturday loves! As you know, this month studying is always in my to-do list for the day. But today there’s another thing happening: it’s Lucy’s 10th birthday! Oh, and my father’s birthday as well ahah. We will go out later to have dinner, celebrate and have fun! It’ll be nice to let go of some exam pressure. Have a nice weekend xx.

Quando há falta de fotos, aqui fica um mix de Paris! Yup, ainda a sonhar com Paris passado dois meses. Especialmente agora que entrei em época de exames, estou a fazer uma tese e a aprender a trabalhar com EViews. A minha vida é a definição de aborrecido de momento. Bem, aborrecido para a pessoa “normal”, na verdade eu estou a adorar fazer aquela tese e aquelas regressões econométricas, estou a aprender tanto! Quão nerd sou eu? ahah. Só não gosto do facto de não ter tempo para o blog… Fico tão cansada ao fim do dia e vocês sabem o quão exaustivo pode ser a edição de fotos.

Partindo para coisas mais interessantes, quão bonito é o prédio da Louis Vuitton? Se calhar um dia vou trabalhar lá eheh. Ok, seria sortuda o suficiente se pudesse fazer lá compras. Além disso, quem reconhece o Cafe des deux moulin do filme da Amélie? Um dos meus favoritos de todos os tempos! Já viram?

 

When in lack of pictures, here is a mix from Paris! Yup, stil dreaming about Paris after two months. Especially now that I entered exam season, I’m doing a thesis and learning how to work with EViews. My life is the definition of boring at the moment. Well, boring for the “normal” person, I’m actually enjoying doing that thesis and making econometric regressions, I’m learning so much! How nerd am I? ahah. I just don’t like the fact that I don’t have time for the blog… I get so tired at the end of the day and you guys now how exhausting editing pictures can be.

Onto more interesting things, how pretty is the Louis Vuitton building? Maybe one day I’ll work there eheh. Ok, I’d be lucky enough to shop there. Also, who recognizes Cafe des deux moulins from the Amélie movie? One of my favorites of all time! Have you seen it?

The city of lights

 

Já tinha ido ao topo da torre Eiffel antes por isso desta vez queria ir de noite. Deve ser lindo olhar para a cidade toda coberta de luzes. Sim, “deve”, porque acabei por não ir. Passei quase três horas numa fila e quando estava quase na bilheteira, o topo da torre Eiffel tinha fechado. Típico da Catarina… ahah. Definitivamente a pior coisa sobre Paris (e viagens em geral) são as filas. Esperar não é de todo para mim!

 

I have been to the top of the Eiffel tower once before so this time I wanted to go in the night time. It must be beautiful to look at the whole city covered in lights. Yes, “it must be”, because I ended up not going. I spent almost three hours in the line and when I was almost getting to the ticket office, the top of the Eiffel tower closed. Typical Catarina… ahah. Definitely the worst thing about Paris (and travelling in general) are the lines. Waiting is just not for me!
