Roma no ano-novo

Uma viagem muito especial para começar o ano. Sempre adorei Roma, mas desta vez a cidade tornou-se ainda mais especial para mim. Passeámos muito nesta cidade que é tão romântica, passámos a meia noite no Circus Maximus (onde vimos Culture Club) e comemos muito – e bem! Para acrescentar a todos os clichés de turistas em Roma, fizemos um curso para aprender a fazer massa e tiramisu. Provavelmente um dos meus momentos preferidos desta viagem. Super divertido e delicioso!

Rome for new years eve

A very special trip to start the year. I have always loved Rome, but this time the city became even more special to me. We have walked a lot in this very romantic city, spent new years eve in Circus Maximus (where we saw Culture Club) and we ate a lot – and well! Adding to all the Rome turist clichès, we did a workshop to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu. Probably one of my favorite moments of this trip. So fun and delicious!

Aqui ficam algumas fotos da última vez que visitei Versalhes com a minha irmã. Que sítio tão lindo!

Recentemente ouvi falar de um espetáculo em Versalhes que acontece todos os sábados à noite de verão. Passa-se nos imensos jardins do palácio, há fogo de artifício e um espetáculo de água nas fontes. Deve ser um lugar tão mágico para visitar à noite! Vou com certeza adicioná-lo à minha lista de coisas a fazer no próximo verão (será esta a minha primeira to-do de 2025?) eheh. Assegurem-se de tomar nota se visitarem Paris entre junho e setembro!

 

Here are some pictures of the last time I visited Versailles with my sister. Such a beautiful place!

I recently heard about a show in Versailles that happens every saturday night during summer. It takes place in the immense gardens of the palace, there are fireworks and a water show in the fountains. It must be such a magical place to visit at night! I am definitly adding this as a must do for next summer (is this my first 2025 to-do?) eheh. Make sure to take note if you are visiting Paris between June and September!

Algumas fotos aleatórias do meu fim de semana em Lisboa. Não consigo deixar de me apaixonar sempre que visito esta cidade – a minha Lisbonita ♥. Mais uma vez, comi tão bem! Andei MUITO. E lembrei-me do que é andar em Lisboa – algo que só atletas de alta competição conseguem fazer. Tive a minha dose anual de vitamina D. E tive um desejo repentino de mudar toda a minha cozinha e pôr azulejos em todo o lado. Vi família e amigos. E tive de me relembrar várias vezes da razão pela qual eu deixei este sítio tão bonito. Fiquei com o coração cheio. Mas também fiquei com o coração apertado. Tal como fico sempre que digo adeus à minha família e parto para o aeroporto.

Lisboa é uma montanha russa de emoções. Mas eu já tenho saudades!

 

Some random pictures of my weekend in Lisbon. I cannot help but fall in love with this city everytime – my Lisbonita ♥. Once again, I have eaten so well! I have walked a LOT. And I remembered what it feels like to walk around Lisbon – something only high performance athletes can achieve. I got my yearly dose of vitamin D. And I got a sudden desire to re-do all my kitchen and use only azulejos for the walls. I saw poetry everywhere. I saw family and friends. And I had to remind myself over and over why I left this beautiful place. I got my heart full. But I got my heart broken too, just like everytime I kiss my family goodbye and leave to the airport.

Lisbon is a rollercoster of emotions. But I miss it already!
