How much can change in a year?

Algures no norte de Portugal, no verão de 2020. estas fotos foram tiradas. É assustador o quanto pode mudar num ano, huh? Continuo a dizer isto todos os anos, mas a vida continua a surpreender-me! Felizmente, isto aplica-se para coisas boas também. E algumas delas estão mesmo ao virar da esquina. Não terei férias este ano – o que, possivelmente, explica o facto de eu estar a ver fotos minhas a flutuar num flamingo… – mas é por uma boa causa!

Pergunto-me o que será que estarei a dizer daqui a um ano, ao pensar em tudo o que se passou no verão de 2021. Parece que me estarei a rir desta confusão toda no meu apartamento em Paris 😀 . Quais são os vossos planos para este Verão?

Somewhere in the north of Portugal, on Summer 2020, these pictures were taken. It’s crazy how much can change in a year, huh? I keep saying this, year after year, but life keeps surprising me! Thankfully, this applies for good things too. And some of them are just around the corner. I won’t have holidays this year – which, perhaps, explains why I am looking into  pictures of me floating on a flamingo… – but it is for a good cause!

I wonder what will I be saying one year from now, thinking about my situation on Summer 2021. Guess I will be laughing at all this mess in my Parisian apartment 😀 . What are your plans for this Summer?
