Reims, Champagne

 

Começamos a semana a reviver um fim-de-semana em Reims este verão. Um fim-de-semana que se resume a comida boa, muito champanhe e vistas bonitas. A catedral é sem dúvida a grande atração da cidade e é impressionante! Mas a minha parte favorita foi a visita às vinhas. Já fiz visitas a caves antes mas desta vez quis ver de perto a parte do processo que é mais próxima da natureza. Não foi muito fácil de lá chegar, visto que as vinhas eram numa parte remota do campo. Mas valeu a pena. A vista era linda, aprendi imenso e ainda degustei 3 champanhes diferentes – um deles foi a Ratafia que vêm na última foto, adorei!

Starting the week by looking back at a weekend in Reims this summer. A weekend that can be summarized into good food, a lot of champagne and pretty views. The cathedral is for sure the biggest attraction of the city and it is impressive! But my favorite part was visiting the vineyards. I have visited caves before but this time I wanted to see the part of the process that is closer to nature. It was not easy to get there, since the vineyards were lost in the countryside. But it was worth it. The view was gorgeous, I learn a lot and I even tastes 3 different champagnes – one of them, the Ratafia that you see in the last picture, I loved it!
