Westin Paris

 

A celebrar o amor neste espaço lindo no Westin Paris. Que noite especial! É sempre tão bom poder fazer parte de um dia tão importante para uma das minhas amigas. E quer dizer… wow! Olhem só para este lugar. Mesmo sem qualquer decoração, a sala é lindíssima. A comida foi ótima, a música também e a companhia ainda melhor. A única parte má foi que foi num domingo à noite… E conseguem imaginar que segunda não foi um dia fácil para mim ahah.

Este fim de semana, estou num ambiente completamente diferente, mas ainda a celebrar amigos e família! Estes não são os fins de semana mais relaxantes mas definitivamente os que mais me enchem o coração.

 

Celebrating love in this beautiful place at Westin Paris. What a special night! It is always amazing to be able to take part of such an important day for one of my friends. And I mean… wow! Just look at this place. Even without any decoration, the room is breathtaking. The food was great, the music as well and the company even better. The only bad part was that it was Sunday night… and you can guess that Monday was not that easy for me ahah.

This weekend, I am in a completly different environment, but still celebrating friends and family! Those are not the most relaxing weekends but definitly the ones that fill my heart the most.

A semana passada foi intensa. Uma atmosfera caótica no trabalho misturado com uma vida pessoal agitada. Ainda assim, estou contente de ter feito tantas coisas divertidas! Respeitei o meu plano de ir 3 vezes por semana ao ginásio, e ainda fiz uma aula extra com as minhas colegas depois do trabalho. Recebi a minha irmã para jantar durante a semana, um casal de amigos durante o fim de semana, e também fui jantar fora uma das noites. Experimentei várias receitas novas (nem todas incríveis, mas pronto). Comprei algumas coisinhas para a casa que queria há tanto tempo! Passei tempo com as minhas pessoas e comigo.

Que esta semana seja tão rica em experiências como a semana passada. Um brinde a esta nova semana – que seja incrível!

 

Last week was intense. Chaotic atmosphere at work mixed with busy personal life. But still, I am happy I was able to do so many fun things! I kept up with my plan of going to the gym 3 times a week, plus I did an extra class one day after work with my colleagues. I received my sister for dinner during the week, a couple of friends on the weekend and also went out for dinner once. Tried several different recipes (not all of them great, but sill). Bought a few things for the house that I needed for so long! Spent time with my loved ones and with myself.

So may this week be as rich in experiences as the previous one. Cheers to this new week – may it be great!

Mushroom Hunting

 

Falei do espírito de outono no último post. E aqui está o exemplo perfeito! Uma das minhas novas atividades preferidas de outono: ir à caça de cogumelos! É tão bom estar próxima da natureza, recolher os produtos de manhã e cozinhar pratos deliciosos com os mesmos à tarde.

Este tipo de atividades dão-me vontade de mudar para o campo, ter um jardim onde posso plantar os meus legumes e frutas e abrir um café onde vendo produtos frescos mas também flores e livros e talvez organizar atividades de pintura duas vezes por semana. Oh well… Talvez daqui a alguns anos?

Ontem apanhámos cerca de 2,6kg de cogumelos. Diz-se que a melhor altura para os encontrar é quando o solo está húmido e a lua ascendente – parece que é mesmo verdade! Portanto, com esta ótima colheita, hoje temos no menu cogumelos salteados e, mais tarde durante a semana, risotto!

 

I spoke about the fall spirit on the last post. And here is a perfect example! One of my new favorite fall activities: go mushroom hunting! It feels so nice to be this connected to nature, collect you own products in the morning and cook fresh dishes with it in the afternoon.

This kind of activities make me want to move to the countryside, have my own garden and open a little café where I sell fresh baked products but also flowers and books and maybe have painting activities on twice a week on the afternoon. Oh well… Maybe some years from now?

Yesterday we caught around 2,6kg of mushrooms. Some say the best time to hunt them is when the ground is wet and the moon is rising – it seems it is really true! With such a great harvest, today we have on the menu sauteed mushrooms and, later on the week, risotto!
