Wedding Season

No fim de semana passado fui a Portugal para o casamento de um dos meus amigos de infância. Honestamente, foi super cansativo ir por apenas um fim de semana mas, ao mesmo tempo, foi tão bom ver toda a gente! Vi amigos que não via há anos, comi comida muito boa e dancei até à luz do sol raiar. Tão divertido! Este mesmo fim de semana, uma das minhas melhores amigas convidou-me para ser a sua madrinha de casamento – que vai acontecer em abril 2025. Estou tão feliz por ela! E é uma honra tão grande poder contribuir para um dos dias mais bonitos da vida dela,

Mas a época dos casamentos ainda não acabou este ano! Falta um em Outubro ♥.

 

Last weekend I went to Portugal just to attend the wedding of one of my childhood friends. It was honestly so tiring to go just for the weekend but, at the same time, so good to see everyone! I had the chance to see some friends I haven’t seen in years, eat some very nice food and dance until daylight. So fun! This same weekend, one of my bestfriends asked me to be her bridesmaid’s – the wedding is happening in April 2025. I am so happy for her! And it is such an honor to be able to contribute to one of the most beautiful days of her life.

But the wedding season is still not over this year! One more to go this October ♥.

Work trip to Milan

Algumas fotografias da minha última viagem de trabalho a Milão. Estes dias são ótimos para quebrar a rotina e conhecer novas pessoas mas são também muito mais cansativos que os dias normais de trabalho. Especialmente quando viajamos de manhã e voltamos no mesmo dia à noite. Felizmente, tenho a sorte de trabalhar com a Itália por isso ao menos a comida nunca me desaponta. E as vistas! Bem… quase sempre. Mas desta vez tivemos a oportunidade de ir almoçar num restaurante com vista sob o lago Iseo – tãooo bonito.

Por agora, o regresso é apenas ao escritório. Boa semana!

 

Some snapshots of my last work trip to Milan. These days are so nice to break the routine and meet new people but they are so much more tiring than the common work days. Especially when we travel in the morning and get back on the same night. Thankfully, I have the chance of working with Italy so at least the food never disappoints. And the views! Well… most of the time. But this time we had the opportuinity of having lunch in a restaurant with a view over the lake Iseo – soooo beautiful.

For now, I came back only for the office. Have a good week!

Bonne Rentrée !

Quatro países, nove aviões, muita dor de cabeça mas muitas e boas memórias depois, aqui estou eu. Foi um verão muito corrido! O trabalho intenso e as férias uma aventura. Fui para o campo para passar o meu aniversário, fiz uma viagem de trabalho a Milão, fiz uma grande viagem para a Tanzânia e Zanzibar, fiz uma roadtrip em Portugal e entre cada uma destas, voltei sempre para Paris, um ou dois dias, durante os jogos olímpicos.

Foi muito bom, mas admito que me soube tão bem voltar a casa e à minha rotina. Ás vezes é só preciso uma longa pausa para voltar a apreciar as pequenas rotinas mundanas. Por isso, estou mais do que pronta para Setembro e para a reta final de 2024! Bonne rentrée !

 

Four countries, nine planes, a lot of headaches but a lot of good memories after, here I am. It was a busy Summer! The work was intense and the holidays an adventure. I went to the countryside to spend my birthday, I did a work trip to Milan, a long trip to Tanzanie and Zanzibar, a roadtrip in Portugal and, between all of this, I always came back to Paris, for a few days, during the olympic games.

It was very good, but I admit it felt so good to be back home and back to my routine. Sometimes I only need a long pause to get to appreciate the little mundane routines again. So, I am more than ready for September and this final stretch of 2024! Bonne rentrée !
