Fnac Live Paris 2023

Uma das melhores coisas de viver numa grande cidade é que há sempre algo que está a acontecer. Esta semana foi o Fnac Live Paris 2023! Uma dúzia de concertos gratuitos no centro da cidade, todos os dias, durante 3 dias. Admito que não conhecia a maior parte dos artistas que participaram no festival MAS quando vi que Franz Ferdinand iam lá estar na quinta feira, não pude faltar.

Já no ano passado tinha tentado ver um festival em que eles participaram em Paris e não consegui entrar porque a fila de espera era de muuuitas horas. Desta vez, para não arriscar, cheguei bem cedo e consegui entrar! Foi um concerto pequenino mas repleto de clássicos – a casa foi abaixo com Take Me Out, claro, e This Fire, que foi a última canção tocada.

One of the best things of living in a big city is that something is always happening. This week it was the Fnac Live Paris! A dozen of free concerts, every day, for three days. I admit that I did not know a lot of the artists that participated BUT when I saw that Franz Ferdinand was going to be there, I could not miss it.

I also tried to go into a festival where they participated last year and could not get in because there was a queue of seeeveral hours. This time, not to take the risk, I arrived earlier and I managed to go in! It was a little concert but full of classics – the house came down with Take Me Out, of course, and This Fire, which was the last song played.

Throwback para o último dia com estas meninas no escritório. A melhor parte de trabalhar em sítios diferentes é as pessoas que levo comigo ♥. Já tenho saudades das pausas de almoço e das mensagens secretas no chat! É tão triste quando estamos habituados a ver alguém todos os dias e de repente… não? Mas de momento estamos todas em Paris por isso podemos continuar a encontrar-nos e a prolongar o office gossip eheh. Sem dúvida que as pessoas são uma das coisas mais importantes num trabalho. Ter uma equipa que se ajuda, em quem se pode confiar e que mantém sempre um bom ambiente é essencial. Ou, pelo menos, aquela office bestie que nos mantém sãs e vice-versa!

 

Throwback to the last days with the girls in the office. The best part of working in different places is always the people I keep with me ♥. I am missing the lunch breaks and secret coded chat messages already! It is so sad when you are used to seeing someone everyday and all of a sudden you just… don’t? But currently we are all in Paris so we can continue to meet and extend the office gossip eheh. There is no doubt that people are one of the most important things in a job. Having a team that helps each other, whom you can trust and that always keeps a good environment, it is essencial. Or, at least, that office bestie that keeps you sane and vice-versa!
