ALL THE BEST FOR 2026

All the best for 2026!

Tudo de bom para 2026!

Com muuuuito atraso, MAS: Feliz 2026! Desejo-vos tudo de bom para este ano. ♥

All the best for 2026!

Wayyyy overdue, BUT: Happy 2026! I wish you all the best for this year. ♥

It’s hard for me to come up with a list of goals for 2026, because there’s one big goal that’s stealing all my attention away from everything else, haha. So, you can think of this as my mood board for the first part of the year. Later on, I’ll talk to you again about my goals for the end of the year.

The big goal I’m talking about is, of course, getting married! I’m so excited about everything: the emotions, the party, the honeymoon. But, my goodness, the planning is exhausting! I feel like I have two jobs right now: fashion buyer from 9 to 6 and wedding planner from 6 to 9. Plus, there’s so much pressure to “be my best self” on the wedding day! I’m trying not to get carried away and not get caught up in crazy routines or diets. I want to be my best self whenever possible, not just on my wedding day.

So, until the big day, my goals are: Do 1–2 Pilates Reformer sessions per week (in addition to the gym); go to the sauna once a month; maintain simple skincare and haircare routines; drink plenty of water; eat healthily.

For the big day: not to stress too much, make the most of it, spend time with my family and friends, and have a lot of fun!

After the big day: make the most of our honeymoon and finally relax after a stressful year!

What are your goals for this year?

So. So

A WEEKEND IN LONDON

Weekend in London

A weekend in London

A few days ago I told you about Amsterdam, today I’m going to tell you about London. While I was a novice in Amsterdam, I’m an expert in London! My sister has lived there for a long time, so I’ve had the opportunity to visit the city several times. This time I went simply to spend some time with her, rather than to sightsee. And it was great! I experienced London from a local’s perspective: I went for a walk in the park on Saturday morning, had Sunday roast at the pub, and had a drink outside (another) pub waiting for the Christmas lights to illuminate the street. It’s no myth: pubs really are sacred in this city, ahah.

And so I ended the most exhausting week of the year—tired but happy.

So. So.

DAY TRIP TO ZAANSE SCHANS

Day trip from Amsterdam: Zaanse Schans

We spent four days in Amsterdam, which I think is the ideal amount of time to spend there. We had enough time to explore the city, see the main attractions, visit a few museums, take a boat trip along the canals and, finally, go on a day trip to a very traditional village.

So, if you have enough time for a day trip, I highly recommend visiting Zaanse Schans. Just a 35-minute train ride away, you’ll find a beautiful village that looks like something out of a fairy tale. Known for its typical Dutch windmills, you can also visit a cheese farm and a wooden shoe workshop – for free!

We spent a few hours there and took the opportunity to have lunch at a local café which turned out to be a very pleasant surprise: Wolfsend. A lovely spot for lunch if you’re looking for a charming café!
