Se estão a ler este post no final de Agosto / início de Setembro, estão provavelmente numa destas situações: 1) acabaram de regressar de férias e estão prontos para a nova estação ou 2) v~estão de férias ou vão de férias em breve (sortudos). De qualquer forma, trago-vos algumas sugestões de malas que combinam perfeitamente com o vosso mood.

 Para os que estão de férias, nada mais verão do que uma mala em ráfia. Pensem jantar num bom restaurante com um look incrível depois de um dia na praia. Para este mood, adoro a opção número 3 – uma clutch em ráfia, tão fácil de conjugar de forma elegante como casual.

E para os que regressam ao trabalho… estamos juntos. Mas nada melhor para levantar a moral e dar un incentivozinho extra como uma nova peça de roupa, mala ou sapatos. Portanto, corporate girlies como eu, sugiro-vos uma mala em pele, claro. Numa cor outonal: bege, castanho ou preto. Adoro a opção número 5 pela mesma razão da anterior – acho-a super elegante e prática, fácil de utilizar para ir para o trabalho ou ir jantar fora. Uma mala versátil é tudo!

If you’re reading this post in late August or early September, you’re probably in one of these situations: 1) you’ve just returned from vacation and are ready for the new season, or 2) you’re on vacation or heading out on vacation soon (lucky you). Either way, I’ve got some bag suggestions that can perfectly match your mood.

For those on vacation, nothing says summer quite like a raffia bag. Imagine dining at a nice restaurant in a stunning outfit after a day at the beach. For this vibe, I love option number 3—a raffia clutch, which is just as easy to style for a chic look as it is for a casual one.

And for those heading back to work… we’re in this together. But there’s nothing better to boost your mood and give yourself a little extra motivation than a new piece of clothing, bag, or shoes. So, for corporate girls like me, I suggest a leather bag, of course. In an autumnal color: beige, brown, or black. I love option number 5 for the same reason as the previous one—I think it’s super elegant and practical, easy to use whether you’re heading to work or going out to dinner. A versatile bag is everything!

Passei o meu 29.º aniversário em Troyes, numa escapadela de fim de semana. Acho que foi a primeira vez que passei o meu aniversário fora e adorei. No dia anterior (sábado), almoçámos num restaurante e passeámos por Troyes, porque era a minha primeira vez lá. É uma cidade muito pequena, mas muito gira. No final da tarde, fomos de carro até ao nosso hotel, que ficava numa pequena cidade mesmo ao lado de Troyes, aproveitámos a piscina, tomámos um banho e fomos jantar no restaurante do hotel. Que era super bom! Lembro-me de, quando era mais nova, esperar até à meia-noite para celebrar o meu aniversário, mas… agora estou velha e cansada, ahah. Falta apenas um ano para os grandes 30! Por isso, adormeci um pouco antes da meia-noite e acordei no dia seguinte para um excelente pequeno-almoço de hotel — agora, é este o meu tipo de felicidade!

Voltámos para Paris no final do dia e fomos jantar a um novo restaurante italiano perto da nossa casa — também era super bom! No geral, foi um fim de semana muito agradável, com muuuuita comida e amor, tal como eu gosto ♥.

 

I spend my 29th birthday in Troyes for a weekend gateway. I think it was the first time I ever spent my birthday away and I loved it. The day before (saturday) we ate lunch in a nice restaurant and just walked around Troyes because it was my first time there. Very tiny but very cute. At the end of the afternoon we drove to our hotel which was in a small town right next to Troyes, enjoyed the pool, took a bath and went for dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. Which was actually super good! I remember being young and waiting until midnight to celebrate my birthday but… I am old and tired now ahah. Just one year away from the big 30th!  So I fell asleep a bit before midnight and woke up the next day to a great hotel breakfast – this is my kind of hapiness now!

We came back to Paris at the end of the day and went out for dinner to a new italian restaurant close to our house – super good too! Overall a very nice weekend, with looots of food and love, just how I like it ♥.

Já o disse antes e volto a dizê-lo: se há algo que não desiludiu na Grécia, foram os pores-do-sol. Cada um deles tão único e belo. Por isso, não podia terminar este resumo da nossa lua de mel sem uma retrospectiva dos pores-do-sol gregos. Vimos-os da varanda, do jacuzzi, da praia, do castelo, do restaurante… Uma bela compilação de alguns dos momentos mais especiais da nossa lua de mel.

E uma das minhas fotos favoritas de toda a viagem tem de ser a primeira: as nossas alianças a brilharem à luz alaranjada e intensa do pôr-do-sol. Ahhh, adoro!

 

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: if there’s one thing that didn’t disappoint in Greece, it was the sunsets. Each one was so unique and beautiful. That’s why I couldn’t end this recap of our honeymoon without a look back at the Greek sunsets. We watched them from the balcony, the hot tub, the beach, the castle, the restaurant… A beautiful compilation of some of the most special moments of our honeymoon.

And one of my favorite photos from the entire trip has to be the first one: our wedding rings glistening in the intense, orange light of the sunset. Ahhh, I love it!
