Lately on my phone.

 

Estes “Lately” posts já não são o que eram 🙁 . Agora todas as minhas fotos perdidas são de atividades random que faço em casa para me tentar manter sã. Quando tudo voltar ao normal (ando a dizer isto há quase um ano, por favor que seja em breve, por favor!), quero fazer um workshop de costura profissional. No entanto, enquando tudo está fechado, tenho praticado em casa! Esta é a máquina de costura da minha avó e uma das coisas mais preciosas que tenho.

 

These “Lately” posts are not what they used to be anymore 🙁 . Now all my lost phone pictures are about random activities I do while in lockdown in order to keep myself sane. When everything goes back to normal (I have been saying this for almost a year, please let it be soon, please!), I intend to do a professional sewing workshop. However, while everything is closed, I have been trying to practice at home! This is my grandmother’s sewing machine and one of the most precious things I own.

 

 

Este foi o meu projeto do fim de semana passado: um scrunchie! É fácil de fazer (apesar de requerer coser à máquina e à mão). Estariam interessados num tuturial para um DIY Scrunchie?

Ainda no tópico da costura. Tenho procurado um anel de costura há imenso tempo! Corri lojas à procura de um anel em fita métrica e as pessoas olhavam para mim como se fosse louca 😛 . Na verdade, só queria poder levar a minha avó todos os dias e a todo o lado e achei que esta era uma boa forma de a honrar. Recentemente encontrei este anel de alfinete e pareceu certo ♥ .

Still on the sewing topic. I have been searching for a sewing ring for the longest time! I ran stores looking for a measure tape ring and people would look at me like I was crazy 😛 . Honestly, I just wanted to take my grandmother with me everyday and everywhere and I though this would be a nice way to honor her. Recently I found this sewing pin ring and it felt just right ♥ . 

 

 

Outra coisa que me ajuda a distrair é cozinhar (e comer). Este é um bolo de chocolate que fiz que é tipo mousse por dentro e sabe a um pedaço de céu.

 

Another thing that helps me get distracted is to bake (and eat). This is a chocolate cake I did which is like mousse on the inside and tastes like heaven.

 

 

E se há coisa que não nos podem tirar é o nascer e o pôr do sol. Posso estar trancada em casa mas fico feliz de poder ver o céu ganhar cores bonitas a partir da minha varanda.

 

And if there’s one thing no one can’t take away from us are sunrises and sunsets. I may be locked in my home but I am glad I still the sky getting in pretty colors through my balcony.

 

 

Não sei bem o contexto desta foto mas achei fofinha. Às vezes acordo e apetece-me tirar fotografias random (são sortudos porque não chego a partilhar nem 1% delas ahah). Além disso, gosto de roupas, gosto de livros, por isso… porque não?

E com boas energias e fotos bonitas terminamos mais uma semana. Que a próxima seja melhor ainda ♥ .

 I don’t really know the context of this picture but I thought it was cute. Sometimes I just wake up feeling like taking random pictures (you are lucky I don’t even share 1% of them ahah). Also, I like clothes, I like books so… why not?
