Um verão ocupado mas tão divertido! Entre Paris e Lisboa, trabalho e férias, casamentos e aniversários, cidade e campo, semanas stressantes de trabalho e fins de semana divertidos – houve um pouco de tudo!

Mas claro que o destaque é a semana em Portugal com a minha familia. Tenho algumas polaroids fofinhas do meu jantar de aniversário – como a que vêem acima, já na parte da noite onde há champagne. Visitei a minha Lisbonita e comi pastéis de Belém. Tenho de admitir, foi uma das coisas das quais tive mais saudades.

 

Busy Summer but such a fun one! Between Paris and Lisbon, work and holidays, weddings and anniversaries, city and countryside, stressful weeks and fun weekends – there was a bit of everything!

But of course the biggest highlight has to be the week in Portugal with my family. I got some cute polaroids from my birthday dinner – like the one above, already in the champagne part of the night. Visited my Lisbonita and ate pastéis de Belém. I have to admit, it was one of the things I was missing the most.

Algures em Junho tive a festa de verão da minha empresa no Hotel Amour. Super fun! Apesar da comida ter sido um pouco desapontante, ao menos conheci novas pessoas! Não foi tão divertido quando cheguei a casa nessa mesma noite e tinha a casa de banho inundada. Mas isso é outra história!

 

Somewhere in June there was the Summer Party of my company in Hotel Amour. Super fun! Even tho the food was a bit disappointing, at least I met so many new people! Not so fun when I got home this very same night and my bathroom had floaded during the dinner. But that is another story!

Ainda e, Junho visitei o showroom em Paris, tão boooom! E tantos acessórios coloridos que vamos ter na proxima coleção, mal posso esperar.

 

Also in June I visited the Paris showroom, so niceeeee! And such colorful accessories that we will have in the next season, can’t wait.

 

New in June, July and August

Julho, como mencionado, foi parcialmente dividido entre França e Portugal. Enquanto em Paris, foi um mês calmo. Visitei o Musée des Archives Nationales e fui a um concerto dos Red Hot Chili Peppers!

Fomos atingidos por uma onda de calor por isso também consegui o meu primeiro mergulho.

 

July, as mentioned, was partially divided between France and Portugal. While in Paris, it was a calm month. I visited the Musée des Archives Nationales and went to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert!

We got hit by a heat wave, so I also managed to get my first swim of the year.

Em Agosto fiz teletrabalho do meio do nada durante uma semana, quase pareceu férias! Na semana a seguir recebi amigos no meu pequeno Versailles e no fim de semana a seguir fui para Dijon.

Entretanto foi o meu Parisversary – estou a viver na cidade dos meus sonhos há mais de um ano ♥. Não estou ainda na minha casa de sonho com vista para a Torre Eiffel onde posso pintar na minha varanda domingo de manhã mas.. Estou mais perto do que nunca!

Sinto que o verão passou a correr, com tanta coisa a acontecer. Foram três meses cheios de eventos e alegrias.

 

In August I spent a week homeworking from the middle of nowhere, it almost felt like holidays! The week after, I received friends in my little Versailles and then went to Dijon for a weekend.

Meanwhile, I had my Parisversary – I have been living in my dream city for over a year now ♥. Not yet in my dream house with a view to the Eiffel Tower where I can paint on my balcony on Sunday mornings but well… I am closer than I ever was!

I feel like Summer passed in a rush, with so many things happening. Three months full of events but also full of joy.
