PARIS FASHION WEEK TRENDS.
O mês da moda acabou a semana passada. E, como é habitual, estou aqui para sublinhar as maiores tendências da Paris Fashion Week. Esta foi uma edição especial porque não só parece que voltámos à normalidade como, também, pude experienciar de muito perto! Tudo aconteceu aqui, na mesma cidade onde estou. O próximo passo é receber os convites, estamos quase lá!
Para além do show Balenciaga x Simpsons, que fui um sucesso estrondoso na internet, vale a pena mencionar a manifestante que invadiu o desfile da Louis Vuitton com um cartaz que dizia “Overconsumption = Extinction”. O que pensam disto?
E antes de começarmos com as tendências: Qual foi o vosso desfile / momento favorito do mês da moda?
Fashion month has ended this past week. And, as usual, I am here to highlight some major trends of Paris Fashion Week. This was a special one because not only does it seem we are finally getting back to normal but, also, I could experience much closer! Everything was happening just here, in the same city as me. The next step is to get the invitations, we are almost there!
Besides the Balenciaga x Simpsons show, which was a major success on the internet, I feel like it is important to highlight the protestor that invaded the Louis Vuitton show with a banner that said “Overconsumption = Extinction”. What did you think about this?

Vibrant colors

Esta tem sido uma super tendência ultimamente. Não só falamos de uma coleção Primavera/Verão como falamos de uma situação pós-pandémica. Precisamos de vida, precisamos de cor, precisamos de energia positiva!
This has been a major trend recently. Not only are we talking about a Spring/Summer collection but we are also talking about a post-pandemic situation. We need life, we need colors, we need positive energy!

Catsuit

O catsuit esteve em todo o lado! E eu não me queixo. É feminino e elegante. Maioritariamente presente no desfile de Yves Saint Laurent que, para mim, tem um lugar no pódio esta temporada.
The catsuit was everywhere! And I am not complaining. It’s feminine and elegant. Mainly present in the Yves Saint Laurent show which, for me, has a spot in the podium this season.

Corporate chic

O estilo business e os fatos estiveram presentes de várias formas esta temporada: clássicos e relaxados, coloridos e sóbrios, com calças ou com saia. Provando uma vez mais a versatilidade desta tendência.
The business style and the suits were present in many forms this season: classic and relaxed, colorful and sober, with pants or with skirts. Proving once more the versatility of this trend.

Past & Future Synergy

Tanto o diretor criativo de Givenchy como o de Lanvin comunicaram esta intenção nas suas coleções. Sobre Lanvin, foi dito que a coleção é um tributo à identidade e DNA da marca – “Uma Lanvin que ressoa com os 2020s no mesmo nível em que Lanvin definiu os 1920s – um diálogo entre o passado e o futuro”. Já o diretor criativo da Givenchy disse que pretendeu construir sob a história da Givenchy enquanto olhava para o futuro.
Both the creative diretor of Givenchy and Lanvin communicated this intention in their collections. For Lanvin, it was said that the collection was a tribute to the brand’s identity and DNA – “A Lanvin that resonates with the 2020s to the same degree that Lanvin defined the 1920s – a dialogue between past and future.”. The creative diretor of Gievnchy stated that he intended to build on the history of Givenchy while looking into the future.

Punkish Eyeliner

Raramente sublinho tendências de beleza mas… porque não? O eyeliner “punk” esteve maioritariamente presente na passerelle de Chloé, do preto ao laranja fluorescente. Usariam?
I rarely highlight beauty trends but… why not? The “punk” eyeliner was mainly present in Chloé’s passerelle, from black to neon orange. Would you wear it?
