Uma viagem muito especial para começar o ano. Sempre adorei Roma, mas desta vez a cidade tornou-se ainda mais especial para mim. Passeámos muito nesta cidade que é tão romântica, passámos a meia noite no Circus Maximus (onde vimos Culture Club) e comemos muito – e bem! Para acrescentar a todos os clichés de turistas em Roma, fizemos um curso para aprender a fazer massa e tiramisu. Provavelmente um dos meus momentos preferidos desta viagem. Super divertido e delicioso!

Rome for new years eve

A very special trip to start the year. I have always loved Rome, but this time the city became even more special to me. We have walked a lot in this very romantic city, spent new years eve in Circus Maximus (where we saw Culture Club) and we ate a lot – and well! Adding to all the Rome turist clichès, we did a workshop to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu. Probably one of my favorite moments of this trip. So fun and delicious!

A montagem da praxe do início do ano! Todos os anos começo com um moodboard e uma nova agenda cheia de planos e objetivos. Este ano, espero que seja calmo. Com muita paz e amor. Quero passar mais tempo com as minhas pessoas. Continuar a ir ao ginásio com frequência e planear melhor as minhas refeições. Quero voltar a investir mais tempo nas redes, crescer no trabalho mas ter tempo para mim e para os meus hobbies (esta vai ser a mais complicada, provavelmente). Este ano não planeio nada de super luxuoso. Apenas um ano tranquilo onde a organização, tomada de decisão e calma vão ser as chaves. Um ano de ‘rotina’ mas que possivelmente pode mudar o resto da minha vida. Continua…

 

The usual post from the beginning of the year! Every year start with a moodboard and a new planner full of plans and objectives. This year, I want it to be calm. With a lot of peace and love. I want to spend time with my people. Keep going to the gym regularly and plan better my meals. I want to get back to investing in social media, gorw at work but still have time for me and my hobbies (this one might me a bit harder). This year I do not plan anything very luxurious. Just a peaceful year where organization, decision making and calm will be the key. A ‘routine’ year that might change my life forever. To be continued…

END OF YEAR DECLUTTER

End of year declutter

Apenas três fins de semana até ao final do ano! Por isso está na hora de começar a minha organização de final de ano. Adoro começar o ano fresca e limpa. E uma das melhores formas para mim de me sentir assim é dar uma volta à casa (ok, sobretudo o meu roupeiro) e libertar-me de todas as coisas que já não uso ou já não preciso. Algumas coisas vendi, outras coisas dei a uma loja de caridade em Paris. De qualquer forma, sabe tão bem limpar a casa e ao mesmo tempo dar uma nova oportunidade a todas as coisas que estavam presas nos meus armários.

Faço sempre o mesmo com o meu computador, telemóvel, emails e papéis no geral. Mas estes vão ter de esperar por um outro fim se semana!

 

Only three more weekends until the end of the year! So it was time to start my end of year declutter. I love to start the year fresh and clean. And one of the best ways for me to feel like that is to go around the house (ok, mostly my wardrobe) and get rid of all the things I do not use or do not need anymore. Some things I sell, some things I gave away to a solidarity store in Paris. Either way, it feels so nice to declutter the house and at the same time give a new opportunity to all those things that were stuck in my closet.

I always do the same on my computer, phone, emails, and overall papers. But this will have to wait for another weekend!
