Happy Hour  @ Café Delmas

A primeira sexta-feira do semestre pede uma happy hour! Segundo e último semestre do meu mestrado.

First friday of the semester calls for happy hour! Second and last semester of my master’s degree. Soon soon I will be doing my so much desired internship in a french fashion company. Cannot wait! Until then, there are still some hard projects and sleepless nights waiting for me, I guess. But that can wait. Now it’s weekend time! I still have accumulated plans from last week to do, I am just hopping it doesn’t rain again. My gigantic list of museums and places to visit in Paris won’t do itself alone!

What are your plans?

Chocolate Chip Cookies (receita)

There are not many things that can comfort like fresh baked chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven! I recently baked these for the whole family and they were a success. The worst thing about them is how addicting they are 😛 . And how good would these cookies look on a Christmas table? Just leaving the suggestion here!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is precisely baking and cooking with the family. The problem is that we always do food that lasts until New Year’s Eve and end up eating the same things for a week. I guess that is party of our tradition now too 😀 .

What is your favorite Christmas sweet?

Some snaps from yesterday’s brunch at O Botanista.

Bom dia!

Good morning! And what a perfect day to stay at home and do nothing ahah. I’m looking at my window right now and all I can see is fog. I’ve already been outside, having breakfast and walking Lucy, but it’s way too cold! Plus, my whole body still hurts from Friday night (am I getting too old for partying?) so I guess I’ll stay home and rest.

Yesterday I had a lovely day with four other girls. They are all from this “blog world” and it warms my heart to know that, in spite of all the competition and other bad things associated with this world, there are still people willing to help each other. So, we just booked a brunch in Lisbon and there we went, the five of us, without really knowing each other except through pictures ahah. It was so much fun! And an important part: the food was great. Definitely an experience to repeat.
